A native of the renowned Kingdom of Bhutan located on the eastern edge of the Himalayas, is an accomplished culinary artist with a lifelong passion for cooking. His love for the art of gastronomy began at the tender age of ten, inspired by the natural splendor and happiness that his homeland is renowned for. Growing up as a farmer's son, he learned to appreciate the essence of food and the importance of a direct connection to the soil, relishing the simple yet delectable meals made from his family's organic garden.
Parash formal culinary training began in Seoul, South Korea, where he received a grant scholarship from the Bhutanese government. He later completed his culinary and hospitality education in India, earning degrees in gastronomy, culinary craft, food and beverage management, and hotel management. He subsequently honed his skills throughout Asia, training in various exclusive restaurants, including the Blue Lotus in Hua Hin, where he specialized in plant-based cuisine. He worked at different positions With Bhutan’s most luxurious hotels and lodges, including Gangtey Lodge and Le Meridien Paro.
Parash Chhetri believes that food is a powerful medium that brings people together, transcending language and cultural barriers. He endeavors to create dishes that not only tantalize the taste buds but also evoke a sense of wonder and delight.
He is known for his ability to blend the unique flavors of Asia with classical international cuisine, resulting in a culinary experience that is both distinctive and exceptional. He places a strong emphasis on organic and healthy preparations, ensuring that his guests not only enjoy a flavorful meal but also one that is nutritious and beneficial for their well-being.
His culinary artistry has earned him the privilege of serving numerous prestigious guests, including the 4th King of Bhutan, the Royal Princess of Thailand, the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, and other celebrities and statespersons. His passion for cooking and his commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences make him an invaluable addition to the ÀNI Private Resorts team
Parash Chhetri has joined ÀNI Private Resorts as the overseer of the dining program at the group's Caribbean properties in Anguilla and the Dominican Republic. With his extensive culinary expertise and passion for creating exceptional dining experiences, He is committed to elevating the dining program at each resort to new heights. As part of his role, He will develop bespoke menu programs for each property, catering to the exclusive use concept that focuses on a single group in residence. His aim is to provide a personalized culinary experience that reflects the unique preferences and tastes of each group, making their stay a truly unforgettable one.
His love for food as a universal language is evident in his creative and flavorsome dishes that surprise and delight his guests.
